The Federal Financial Markets Service (FFMS) is the federal executive body that controls and supervises activity in the financial markets, including the activity of exchanges, and issues the relevant regulations. It also regulates the investment of pension savings. The FFMS's key objectives are to maintain stability in the financial markets, make the markets more efficient and attractive to investors, increase market transparency and reduce investment risks. It achieves these objectives by regulating the activities of financial market participants and by setting out the conditions for securities issuance and trading.
